The closure extends from navigation points ALRAM – ZAJ – HAM – ARK – YSJ – TULAX, along the FIR boundary back to the point of origin, effectively shutting down the entire western air corridor of Iranian airspace for over 5 hours.
The affected area is vast, covering an estimated 640,000–800,000 square kilometers, nearly the size of Germany or France. Airlines will be required to reroute around this restricted zone until the closure is lifted./IntelSky
