Согласен, что старые вещи лучше отдавать людям, которые будут носить их с радостью большей, чем ты. Если вещь дорогая, это бывает непросто сделать, но стоит помнить о том, что тебе этот предмет уже не доставит тех эмоций. Мы же покупали не столько саму вещь, сколько удовольствие от того, как мы ее надели, как она нам нравится. И когда это удовольствие меркнет, надо делиться им с теми, кто будет ощущать его «по новой».
Это один из самых доступных нам альтруизмов, потому что он ничего не стоит, но дает почувствовать себя хорошим человеком.
