Предыдущее соглашение (MoU) о покупке 737 MAX, объявленное в конце января, было аннулировано в связи с истечением срока, в течение которого стороны должны были подписать твердый контракт. Фактически Qatar Airways перевела в твердый контракт предыдущее соглашение, но формально это будет он будет считаться новым.
