На XII Международном форуме «Арктика: настоящее и будущее» в Санкт-Петербурге министр по развитию Дальнего Востока и Арктики РФ Алексей Чекунков презентовал план развития Северного морского пути (СМП).
Комплекс мероприятий рассчитан до 2035 года и предусматривает вложения 1,8 триллиона рублей. Запуск СМП на «промышленную» мощность, позволит обеспечить экспортное благополучие России в условиях внешнего давления на десятки лет вперед.
Согласно представленной презентации, в рамках плана развития Севморпути, предполагается строительство 12 и модернизация двух портовых терминалов, прокладка железнодорожного Северного широтного хода. Уже сейчас формируется пул международного бизнеса, заинтересованного в использовании СМП.
