کتاب «خراسانیات: مجموعه‌آثار دکتر علی شریعتی» که به کوشش دو پژوهشگر حوزۀ فرهنگ، رضا سلیمان‌نوری و سید‌خلیل حسینی عطار گردآوری و تدوین شده است، یک نوآوری است. توجه به آثار چهره‌های فکری، نه صرفاً ازمنظر دین و اندیشه که منطقه و فرهنگ، یک ابتکار عمل است. مطالعات منطقه‌ای در ایران هنوز کاویده نشده است. ازاین‌رو آثاری چون خراسانیات، می‌توانند به‌عنوان فراخوانی فهم شوند تا میراث اندیشمندان را با توجه به زمینۀ جغرافیایی و منطقۀ فرهنگی خود، استخراج کنیم و از آن صورتبندی مجددی داشته باشیم.
