شاهزاده رحیم الحسینی، فرزند ارشد آقاخان چهارم، روز چهارشنبه ۱۷ بهمن، پس از قرائت وصیت‌نامه پدرش، به‌عنوان رهبر جدید اسماعیلیان معرفی شد.
او اکنون با عنوان آقاخان پنجم امام زمان و رهبری معنوی میلیون‌ها مسلمان اسماعیلی در سراسر جهان را به ارث برده است.
کریم الحسینی، آقاخان چهارم، که به دلیل فعالیت‌های خیریه و توسعه‌ای خود شناخته می‌شد، روز سه‌شنبه در سن ۸۸ سالگی درگذشت. او از سال ۱۹۵۷، به‌مدت ۶۷ سال، امام اسماعیلیان نزاری بود.
اسماعیلیان که جمعیت آن‌ها بین ۱۲ تا ۱۵ میلیون نفر تخمین زده می‌شود، در بیش از ۳۵ کشور از جمله سوریه، افغانستان، پاکستان و تاجیکستان زندگی می‌کنند.
انتظار می‌رود که آقاخان پنجم راه پدرش را در زمینه توسعه اقتصادی، آموزش، و بهبود شرایط زندگی پیروانش ادامه دهد.

A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. The news also helped traders look past another report showing decades-high inflation and shake off some of the volatility from recent sessions. The Bureau of Labor Statistics' February Consumer Price Index (CPI) this week showed another surge in prices even before Russia escalated its attacks in Ukraine. The headline CPI — soaring 7.9% over last year — underscored the sticky inflationary pressures reverberating across the U.S. economy, with everything from groceries to rents and airline fares getting more expensive for everyday consumers. The Security Service of Ukraine said in a tweet that it was able to effectively target Russian convoys near Kyiv because of messages sent to an official Telegram bot account called "STOP Russian War." The company maintains that it cannot act against individual or group chats, which are “private amongst their participants,” but it will respond to requests in relation to sticker sets, channels and bots which are publicly available. During the invasion of Ukraine, Pavel Durov has wrestled with this issue a lot more prominently than he has before. Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform. In view of this, the regulator has cautioned investors not to rely on such investment tips / advice received through social media platforms. It has also said investors should exercise utmost caution while taking investment decisions while dealing in the securities market.
