С 1 января 2025 года в России вступили в силу новые правила оформления SIM-карт для иностранных граждан. Теперь приобрести или сохранить номер можно только лично в салоне связи, при наличии учётной записи на «Госуслугах», СНИЛС, зарегистрированного IMEI и сданной биометрии.

Эти меры направлены на борьбу с мошенничеством и «серым» оборотом SIM-карт. Всем, кто уже пользуется российской SIM-картой, нужно подтвердить свою личность до 1 июля 2025 года. Иначе номера будут заблокированы. Подробнее — на Госуслугах.
