В завершившихся 11 сентября 2022 года выборах московских муниципальных депутатов избиратели участвовали не слишком охотно. При этом большинство из тех, кто решил проголосовать за того или иного кандидата, предпочли сделать это дистанционно.
На 17.00 11 сентября явка составила 32,2% - в выборах приняли участие 2 304 935 москвичей, из которых дистанционно проголосовали 1 694 733, а очно – 610 202.
Низкий процент явки, судя по тому, что жители России и, в частности, Москвы, пишут о выборах в интернете, объясняется тем, что подавляющее большинство людей не верят в честный подсчет голосов и считают, что от их участия ничего не зависит.
