Ранним утром 16 мая Аэрокосмические силы Корпуса стражей исламской революции Ирана нанесли новые удары по целям в районе израильских Хайфы и Тель-Авива с помощью баллистических ракет средней дальности. Как и в предыдущие разы, несмотря на противодействие ЗРК ПРО Израиля и США, часть ракет прорвалась. Насколько можно судить, там снова среди целей был НПЗ в Хайфе (это его градирня видна на некоторых видео).
