«Если мы не защитим суверенитет государства, с нами произойдет то же самое, что произошло с Украиной. И в таком случае мир и евроинтеграция останутся в прошлом. Соответственно, если этот закон чему-то и служит, так это задаче нашей евроинтеграции — без суверенитета нельзя войти в Европу», — заявил премьер Грузии Ираклий Кобахидзе.
МИД Украины не смолчал и ответил, что такие заявления ухудшают отношения двух стран.
«Использование имени нашей страны в таком пренебрежительном контексте наносит дополнительный вред украинско-грузинским отношениям», - заявил украинский МИД.
