Число горящих домов и поселков от ландшафтных пожаров в Свердловской области растет. Как сообщают в МЧС, жилые дома горят в поселках Таежный (20 строений), Сосьва (30) и Висим (10). Всего на данный момент в регионе сгорело более 60 домов. В Сосьве огонь вплотную подобрался к объектам лечебно-исправительного учреждения (ЛИУ-23). Из колонии эвакуировали 240 осужденных. Пожар там помогают тушить подручными средствами сотрудники соседней колонии №8 из поселка Гари.
25 апреля в области МЧС объявило штормовое предупреждение — скорость ветра превышает 18 метров в секунду. В большинстве случаев причиной пожаров называют переход огня с территорий сухостоя. В горящие поселки для борьбы с огнем власти направили авиацию. Полиция и МЧС проводят проверку.

Russians and Ukrainians are both prolific users of Telegram. They rely on the app for channels that act as newsfeeds, group chats (both public and private), and one-to-one communication. Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Telegram has remained an important lifeline for both Russians and Ukrainians, as a way of staying aware of the latest news and keeping in touch with loved ones. Right now the digital security needs of Russians and Ukrainians are very different, and they lead to very different caveats about how to mitigate the risks associated with using Telegram. For Ukrainians in Ukraine, whose physical safety is at risk because they are in a war zone, digital security is probably not their highest priority. They may value access to news and communication with their loved ones over making sure that all of their communications are encrypted in such a manner that they are indecipherable to Telegram, its employees, or governments with court orders. Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. For instance, in September 2021, Telegram reportedly blocked a chat bot in support of (Putin critic) Alexei Navalny during Russia’s most recent parliamentary elections. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. "Like the bombing of the maternity ward in Mariupol," he said, "Even before it hits the news, you see the videos on the Telegram channels." During the operations, Sebi officials seized various records and documents, including 34 mobile phones, six laptops, four desktops, four tablets, two hard drive disks and one pen drive from the custody of these persons.
