Завершение модернизации линии Лена – Таксимо, на котором находится построенный объект позволит увеличить провозную способность БАМа в направлении Дальнего Востока. Как сообщила пресс-служба ВСЖД, всего уложено 9,7 км нового пути, смонтировано 3 стрелочных перевода, 54 км сетей связи, сигнализации, централизации и блокировки, отсыпано 11,4 тыс. кубометров земляного полотна. Обновленный участок проходит вдоль русла реки Юхтея, поэтому строителями было возведено 6 железобетонных мостов и проложено 8 водопропускных труб.
