American Indian, Muskogee Creek Nation Oklahoma tribe memorial carving”
The Parable of the Cricket.

A New Yorker was once walking with an Indian friend, along the main street of the city. Suddenly, the Indian stopped.

"I hear a cricket!" he exclaimed.

"You're crazy," his friend replied, looking around the busy street.

"But, I do," the Indian insisted. He went straight to the flower bed, in front of the bank building. After moving the bushes aside, the friends did indeed find a cricket there.

"Surprising," the townsman raised his hands. "You must have fantastic hearing."

"No, no," the Indian smiled, "that's not it at all." With these words he poured a handful of coins onto the sidewalk. Passersby shook their heads and reached into their pockets to see if their money had spilled out. "You see," said the Indian. "In life, you only hear what you are tuned to.”

From the Internet

"I don't help my wife!

A friend dropped by in the afternoon. We chatted over coffee about life, everyday things. At one point, I said: "Wait a minute, I'll just do the dishes, and I'll be right back." He looked at me, as if I had at least announced that I was going to build a space rocket. He replied with a mixture of surprise and admiration: "It's great that you're helping your wife. I don't help mine. Because, when I do, she doesn't show any gratitude, e.g. last week, I washed the floor and didn't even hear a thank you."

I sat back down and explained to him that I don't "help" my wife, because my wife doesn't need a helper - she needs a partner. It's not a matter of helping, because we have a division of labor. We live in a house together. So, it's obvious that I clean the house, because I also make it dirty.

I don't help my wife in the kitchen, because I also have to eat, so I have to cook too.

I don't help my wife wash the dishes - I do that, because I also use plates, glasses and forks.

I don't help my wife with the kids, because they are also my kids and it's my fatherly duty.

I don't help my wife with the laundry, hanging or folding clothes - I do that, because they are also my clothes and my children's.

I am not a "helper" in the house, I am part of it. And, when it comes to gratitude and thanks, I asked a friend when was the last time he thanked his wife, when she finished cleaning the house, doing the laundry, changing the sheets, bathing the kids, cooking, taking care of everything else...

Did you really thank her, something like: "Great, Honey! You're fantastic!"?
Does this story seem absurd to you? Weird? Why do you expect rewards and praise, when you happen to wash the floor once in your life? Have you thought about this, my friend? Maybe, because our culture is still macho, and we believe that taking care of the house is a woman's responsibility, and that a man doesn't have to lift a finger.

Thank your wife, the way you would like to be thanked. Move, behave like a real partner, not like a guest who only comes to eat, sleep, bathe and satisfy sexual needs... Feel at home, like at home. In your own home! Real change in our society starts in our homes, where we teach our daughters and sons a sense of community."

“Someone who has completely lost his way in the forest, but with tremendous energy, strives in all directions for the exit, sometimes discovers a new path that no one knows: this is how geniuses are born, whose originality is celebrated.”

Covão dos Conchos – the surreal hidden gem of Portugal
Tucked away in the Serra da Estrela mountains, this artificial lake looks like something out of a fantasy film. Its mysterious circular spillway, built in 1955, is part of a hydroelectric system—but to visitors, it appears like a magical portal in the middle of nature. A place where engineering meets wonder.

When a child returns from school, each day they carry two backpacks.

The first one is impressive: it holds books, notebooks, and even leftover snacks. It’s the backpack everyone sees, and it opens easily.

But there is another one, invisible, which weighs much more than the first.
Inside are all the emotions the child feels, shifting from day to day. There are small victories, fears, the expectations of adults, and hidden desires the child doesn’t always know how to express.

This hidden backpack can be filled with the love of those who care — a strong hug in the morning, a warm smile of greeting.
Or it can carry the weight of a recent argument at school, the pain of silence, the loneliness that can’t be explained, and the pressure of never feeling good enough.

There are thoughts your child may not be aware of, but which are expressed through gestures, silence, or how they interact with others.

This second backpack doesn’t open with a zipper, but it still needs to be emptied and gently refilled... with love and great care.

Reflection:
Behind every child's behavior lies a story, a feeling, a silent plea. Let us learn to see not only the visible burdens they carry, but also the invisible ones — and meet them there, with patience, kindness, and presence.

Never stress yourself out over simple things, like work or household chores. Even if things don't go according to plan, negative emotions won't do you any good.

My grandfather always told me: "Do everything calmly, carefully and without rushing, then you will definitely have time to do everything and do it well, and most importantly, you will enjoy the work."

Negative emotions and stress can only disorient you, distracting you from proper thoughts and order of things. Find a minute, even in the busiest day, to stop and enjoy life. The fact that you can breathe and love. For me, this is the most important thing in life.

Everything else is perverse, depraved, and sick.

Sex and the body must not be contaminated. A woman is a WOMAN. A man is a MAN.

Women are mothers.
Men are fathers.

Anyone who supports this so-called “perverted openness” is guilty of desecrating the divinity of the soul.
