На этом же заседании будут внесены изменения в Устав города, учитывающие передачу Челябинску 13 микрорайонов в поселках Западный и Пригородный. Ранее они относились к Сосновскому району.
Возможность присоединения озвучил в 2024 году губернатор Текслер, объяснив это необходимостью развития транспортной, социальной и инженерной инфраструктуры густонаселенных территорий, невозможной в рамках районного бюджета. Регулярно это вызывало проблемы, решать которые приходилось на уровне правительства области.
