21 июня 2025 года произошла трагедия: в смертельной аварии погиб Николай Трапш, директор Государственного архива Ростовской области. Ему было 49 лет.
Николай Трапш родился в Ростове, окончил исторический факультет РГУ на «отлично», а затем — обучался в аспирантуре. В период с 2002 по 2007 годы Николай Алексеевич занимал пост замдекана исторического факультета РГУ, а затем был избран деканом ИИМО ЮФУ. В 2015 году он занял пост директора Государственного архива Ростовской области.
Николай Трапш — автор множества научных работ, учебных курсов. Он стал инициатором направления подготовки «Документоведение и архивоведение», также вел активную общественную деятельность, которая была направлена на сохранение исторической памяти.

"Someone posing as a Ukrainian citizen just joins the chat and starts spreading misinformation, or gathers data, like the location of shelters," Tsekhanovska said, noting how false messages have urged Ukrainians to turn off their phones at a specific time of night, citing cybersafety.
