❗️ С 8 мая в Русском доме в Берлине проходит уникальная выставка, которую Вы можете посетить до конца июля! «Свидетель истории» — это 30 сильнейших фотографий одного из главных летописцев Второй мировой войны, фронтового фотокорреспондента ТАСС Евгения Халдея.
📸 Его камера запечатлела войну такой, какой она была — от улиц освобождённых городов до залов Потсдамской конференции, от Керчи и Новороссийска до Вены и Берлина. Эти снимки стали частью коллективной памяти, символами эпохи.
🙏 Но путь этих фотографий к зрителю был долгим. В 1990-е архив Халдея оказался в частных руках и надолго был утрачен для семьи. Только после многолетней судебной борьбы его дочь Анна Халдей смогла вернуть часть наследия — более 3 000 негативов и сотни отпечатков. Именно из них были отобраны снимки для нынешней экспозиции.

Ukrainian forces have since put up a strong resistance to the Russian troops amid the war that has left hundreds of Ukrainian civilians, including children, dead, according to the United Nations. Ukrainian and international officials have accused Russia of targeting civilian populations with shelling and bombardments. But Telegram says people want to keep their chat history when they get a new phone, and they like having a data backup that will sync their chats across multiple devices. And that is why they let people choose whether they want their messages to be encrypted or not. When not turned on, though, chats are stored on Telegram's services, which are scattered throughout the world. But it has "disclosed 0 bytes of user data to third parties, including governments," Telegram states on its website. In a statement, the regulator said the search and seizure operation was carried out against seven individuals and one corporate entity at multiple locations in Ahmedabad and Bhavnagar in Gujarat, Neemuch in Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, and Mumbai. At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. False news often spreads via public groups, or chats, with potentially fatal effects.
