Now that's a lot of diamonds in one place
Just curious - is it only me who feel offended and uneasy when another person tells me the meds I'm using (pain relief) is drugs (in a drug addict way)?
When you're tired of your crafting tools breaking all the time XD
There's 64 of each in the drawers, each tool have around 128 durability - some have more, some have less.
(Diamonds above were for 64 diamond hammers, 6 diamonds per hammer)

I finally did the automation for all of the coke ovens I've posted about earlier. Now it's only a matter of bringing stuff to put through pyrolysis.
For those o you wandering about what is a coke oven -
It's a closed with bricks space isolated from any oxygen access to do pyrolysis of different fuels, such as wood to get charcoal or bituminous coal to get coal coke. It gives different liquid creosotes as well, which I'm just burning for now to get some primitive steam energy going. I have 4 big steel high-pressure boilers for that task, ideally they stay at around 1000°C with a high steam pressure inside. That steam is currently powering all of the machinery. 2 boilers are configured to burn liquid creosotes while the other 2 handle solid fuel such as charcoal. Coal coke usually gets used in primitive blast furnaces to create some steel. It's a simplification from the real steel production, but better steel alloys still require much more work to get.
I'm building 10 multiblocks at the same time - processing units consisting out of multiple blocks at the same time in a pre-determined arrangement. I'm trying to do it while utilizing wallsharing - structural blocks of one machine are also getting used by another machine or even a few at once. For example, 1 steam hatch can be used by 3 machines at once to draw steam from it if placed in intersection of their structure. Same goes for structural blocks that are the same for all machines - they can share walls, corners, etc. The only thing they can't share is controllers 1 per each machine.

It's pretty hard to not get lost in what machines are sharing what blocks. I'm trying to highlight to myself every I/O hatch or bus with waypoints and it ended up looking quite nice tbh, despite being a technical detail for me to keep track where I/O blocks are located. There's also a basement level underneath where all of the piping will go, that's another time these markers will be useful.
Wanted to show how it looks:
Will it be interesting for you if I started posting videos with me showing commentating about assembly lines, contraptions and buildings in GT:NH?
I love this modpack and already played for more than 8 months in it. It's my second world, with me, my mom and a friend of mine playing.
Currently I'm usually not posting any voice-overs, but I think I can do it for Minecraft if it's interesting for someone. Leave your opinion below.
I also wanted to ask you what do you think about recent GT:NH content and abundance of posts about GT:NH. If you've been following me closely recently you know I have a really hard mental period irl right now. So that's the reason I started putting more time into progressing in GT:NH. I can still post about some irl stuff, but it's mostly very depressing. SO, let me know in comments what do you think about it.
Did a small typo with poll description, forgot to remove "to" from autocomplete after modifying the message. You're not allowed to edit polls and I don't wanna restart it so I'll leave it as is.
So, I got banned in chats from NGO "Когорта". Yes, again. It's the third time already btw. But this time Domani also banned me from reading messages in organization's official telegram channel, where they post all the news, projects and available for trans people help from NGO. Honestly I noticed it a while ago, but only now took the time to actually ask WTH was even the reason for the ban. Got a very "useful" answer that I continuously broke rules of the organization. Of course I have no idea what I actually did and I'll probably never know. What I know for a fact is the reason for the first ban in their chat was not understanding Domani's question and answering with a joke. I said in the chat without meaning any context that I find it sad when trans community spread hate towards each other while there's already enough hate from transphobic people. Domani instantly replied with "Уточните свою позицию", putting me into full ??? mode - I didn't get what she was saying. Now I realize that she probably thought I was talking about a case when she banned a trans girl from the chat and later based on a personal confrontations blamed her for doing a cyber-attack on the NGO and threaten to sue her in court. It was a full "I can think only about what bothers me" mode from her and obviously I had no idea about it at the time neither had I an intention to bring it up with a generic sentence about hate. So I just naively replied "Лежачая (позиция), на моем плюшевом ките". And got banned seconds after. People who were discussing the ban and bringing the questions "Will I also get banned by talking about it?" indeed got banned too. Later it were those people who sent me what was happening in the chat after my ban. It seemed like everyone who were discussing the situation got banned just because Domani felt annoyed. I did asked other NGO workers to unban me later, which they eventually did. Not a surprize I wasn't allowed to be in NGO online spaces for a long time - after expressing my fear of ban while talk about anything in the presence of Domani I indeed got banned shortly after. I imagine later she also restricted me from viewing informational channels as well, not stopping with text chats.

For me it seems ridiculous that an activist, co-founder of an NGO uses her position to limit access to NGO places for people she personally don't like, no matter what they did even if they didn't break any rules.
Her personality gets greatly illuminated by troubles with getting grants NGO has, noticeable staff turnover and lately by even other board members of an organization leaving, unable to stand the toxic work environment. I understand that she gets a lot of stress from being an open activist in times of the war, but we all do. And that's not an excuse to abuse your position and power in an NGO to express this stress by restricting&banning people who displeases you.
I have quite a big change incoming soon - I can finally afford to buy something that I want, not only the stuff I absolutely need.
After getting the SRS done I was able to start accumulating savings to buy something later. And now I finally decided what it'll be - a PC upgrade. I was aware that I'll need to upgrade sooner or later as my PC fell from medium-end to low-end category at least 5 years ago if not earlier. And now I have troubles not only running games I might want from a newer titles, but even older games that got an update. Or, even more embarrassingly, I have problems running Minecraft rn. It's modded Minecraft, but still - never was a problem to run it in a reasonable 30 FPS for me. And now I have to deal with 15-24 FPS.

Even going away from gaming, I now struggle to run most modern IDEs for programming, can't run UE for game dev, and have struggles with any 3D tools such as blender. Not even talking about video editing stuff. So, my PC is already falling back even on non-gaming related stuff.

And it's not the case where I only need to upgrade 1 component. My GPU is a 10+ years old dinosaur, my CPU isn't too far ahead and operating at 100% load 30-40% of the time. Even RAM isn't enough in some cases - for example, I can't be a host anymore with my 16 GB RAM in GT:NH.
My motherboard is very old as well - I'll need to change it too if I want better CPU, GPU or even RAM. That almost sounds like a need to buy a new PC.
But considering how tight I'm on money I'd really prefer to build my own to try saving some money on that. Even if I do that I'll need to accept the need of skipping laser epilation and every small pleasant purchases for a while. I'm ready for this though.

Now I face a different problem - lack of knowledge. I've never built a PC before and only upgraded some parts like RAM or SSD. I'm trying to learn rn but having a hard time with it.
If anyone has the knowledge / experience in building a PC and choosing components, I'd really appreciate your help. I can specify the budget and expectations more in DM if you decide to help out.
The priorities are gaming > server hosting > programming > content creation tools (blender, UE, video editing etc.) > general purpose programs in this order.
I also have a question for all of you who can't help with information -
Should I open a jar without a goal amount for it?
It's not something I absolutely need, neither will I fail to do it without any contributions from anyone outside. I have some savings. But it will put me hard on negative balance - not in any credit areas, just voiding all of my available money without any left for anything. I did cover my needs for 1 month already and I'll have social payment next month to hopefully stabilize, but it's definitely won't be easy for me financially. Just so you understand - I have 6000 UAH/month income and ~25000 UAH per month spending on health, food, flat and studying. Negative net total gets covered by my family (mother, mostly). So I don't have a situation where I'm completely out of money, but I do have a constant ethical dept to my family. So I'm passing any extra money I somehow accumulate to at least somewhat mitigate on what a financial burden I currently am.

All that being said, I never asked anywhere for a financial support on things I personally want and don't necessary require to live, so I want to hear your opinion on that.
Should I open a jar (crowdfunding) without an end goal for the PC upgrade I'm planning to do? While not dependent on any donations, it can definitely help both in short-term finance situation just after the purchase and help avoid cutting some corners.

As far as I can tell from the poll for most of you it's okay to see me sharing jars not only for strictly necessary stuff.

Please don't feel obligated to donate, I have around 90% of the money for the components I'm considering right now. I'll really appreciate the support, but I'll make it regardless.
No strict goal as I'm adjusting my choices based on the budget, not the other way around. So even small donations of a few tens of UAH is pleasant and really appreciated.
