🕯29 июня 1941 года в бою с немецко-фашистскими захватчиками в Брестской крепости погиб начальник 9-й погранзаставы Андрей Митрофанович Кижеватов.

⭐Будущий Герой Советского Союза родился 18 (31) августа 1907 году в с.Селикса Городищенского уезда Пензенской губернии.

Семья Кижеватова - мать, жена и трое детей (15-летняя дочь, 11-летний сын и 2-летняя дочка) были расстреляны фашистами в 1942 году в деревне Великорита (Белоруссия).

В честь Андрея Кижеватова названо его родное село в Бессоновском районе Пензенской области, там же есть и музей.
🇷🇺🇧🇾Его именем названы улицы в Пензе, Минске и Бресте.
