Третий серийный универсальный атомный ледокол «Якутия» проекта 22220 покинул достроечную набережную Балтийского завода и взял курс на Финский залив, где приступит к заводским ходовым испытаниям.

Специалисты проверят работу механизмов и оборудования ледокола. Будут протестированы скоростные и маневренные характеристики, функционирование общесудовых систем и систем автоматики. Кроме того, проверят системы навигации и связи, а также работу вертолетного комплекса.

Планируется передать ледокол заказчику до конца 2024 года.

Универсальный атомный ледокол «Якутия» — четвертое судно проекта 22220. По проекту 22220 уже построены три ледокола — «Арктика», «Сибирь» и «Урал», которые успешно работают в полярных водах, обеспечивая круглогодичную навигацию по Северному морскому пути.
