9 мая, в День 80-летия Великой Победы прошли торжественные митинги в поселках Рыбачий и Морское, а на территории Лосиного двора не только митинг, но и освящение места будущего мемориала памяти Героев Куршской косы.

Уже сегодня здесь горит вечный огонь и можно поклониться семи десантникам, Героям Советского Союза, погибшим на косе в январе 1945 года.

Позднее установим камень, подобный тому что демонтировали наши литовские соседи в Алкснине.

Достойно, при большом стечении народа мы отметили сегодня День Победы. И я рад, что наша инициатива поддержана жителями, представителями власти, Балтийским Флотом, Калининградской епархией Русской Православной Церкви.
