Эта премия вручается с 2002 года, и за все время ее получили чуть более 200 человек. В этом году на участие в конкурсе было подано 104 заявки, и только 13 человек стали лауреатами. Награду Сергею в Правительстве Саратовской области вручил губернатор Роман Бусаргин.
