Специалисты Балтийского завода ОСК погрузили на борт универсального атомного ледокола проекта 22220 «Чукотка» трехъярусный укрупненный блок секций весом более 170 тонн. В нем расположатся цистерны аварийного расхолаживания, которые предназначены для хранения запаса воды и обеспечения функционирования реакторной установки судна.
Конструкцию погрузили на ледокол при помощи плавучего крана «Демаг». После установки и монтажа блока продолжится его насыщение оборудованием и начнется обустройство внутренних помещений.
Универсальный атомный ледокол «Чукотка» — пятое по счету судно проекта 22220 (четвертое серийное), которое строится на Балтийском заводе ОСК по заказу госкорпорации «Росатом».
