Президент Украины Владимир Зеленский заявил, что Россия на войне в Украине потеряла 750 000 человек, из которых 198 000 убитыми и более 550 000 раненными.
Потери украинской стороны Зеленский оценил в 43 000 погибших и в 370 000 «случаев оказания помощи раненым», отметив, что примерно в половине случаев раненые после лечения снова возвращаются на фронт.
По словам Зеленского, с сентября 2024 года Россия теряет на поле боя людей в соотношении 5-6 против 1 у ВСУ.
С 24 февраля 2022 года Украина вернула из России 3935 пленных: 3767 солдат и 168 гражданских. На оккупированной территории Украины находятся еще несколько миллионов украинских граждан, сказал Зеленский.
