Латвия с 15 июля перестанет признавать пятилетние загранпаспорта граждан РФ
«С 15 июля 2025 года граждане Российской Федерации, имеющие действующую шенгенскую краткосрочную визу и не имеющие паспорта с биометрическими данными, больше не смогут въезжать в Латвию. Однако те, кто въехал в Латвию до 15 июля 2025 года, смогут продолжать находиться в Латвии и выезжать из нее в течение срока действия своей шенгенской визы», – сообщает МИД Латвии.
➡️В то же время россияне, имеющие долгосрочные визы (типа D) и ВНЖ, выданные Латвией, смогут въезжать и находиться в стране до 15 января 2026 года. В течение этого шестимесячного переходного периода они должны будут заменить свой пятилетний паспорт на документ, содержащий биометрические данные.
Латвия не выдает россиянам визы под туристические поездки.
