Удар был нанесен семью дронами, начиненными помимо взрывчатки металлическими поражающими элементами. Пострадавших среди сотрудников станции нет, работники предотвратили угрозу разлива нефти, заявили там.
Прокачка нефти по системе идет на сниженных режимах, в обход поврежденной станции. В Минэнерго Казахстана сообщили, что «ограничений для казахстанской нефти со стороны КТК нет, прием осуществляется в штатном режиме».
