Однако ученые из ПНИПУ отчитались о разработке отечественной системы управления оптоволоконными БПЛА, в которой решена проблем изгибов и обрывов кабеля, а дальность использования доведена до 25 км.
Система "Кукловод" состоит из двух частей: встроенный внутрь воздушный модуль и наземная станция управления в двух вариантах исполнения. В корпусах катушек и БПЛА были использованы новые композитные материалы, а для самой катушки создана конструкция, имеющая систему плавной размотки. Она позволяет более маневренно двигаться с высокой скоростью при управлении дронами от первого лица.
