Но несмотря на всё это, пляжи Анапы продолжают заполняться отдыхающими. Люди, в том числе с детьми, массово заходят в море, хотя в некоторых мазут можно увидеть невооруженным глазом. По пляжам ездят машины с громкоговорителями и напоминают об опасности, но толку мало — туристов с каждым днем всё больше.
Роспотребнадзор ещё 23 мая признал пляжи Анапы и Темрюкского района непригодными для купания. Специалисты ежедневно проверяют воду и песок на 150 пляжах, а побережье остаётся под особым контролем.
