🕊️ 29 апреля 2025 года в Институте научной информации по общественным наукам РАН состоялась Международная научная конференция «80 лет Победы: историческая память на постсоветском пространстве». Организатором мероприятия выступил Отдел Ближнего и Постсоветского Востока ИНИОН РАН.

📑 В рамках пленарного заседания выступили ведущие российские ученые, представители органов власти и общественные деятели.

🌍 Конференция вызвала большой интерес — в ней приняли участие более 150 человек из различных регионов России. Особое внимание привлекло участие зарубежных экспертов и исследователей, что способствовало расширению научного диалога и укреплению международного сотрудничества.

Russian President Vladimir Putin launched Russia's invasion of Ukraine in the early-morning hours of February 24, targeting several key cities with military strikes. This ability to mix the public and the private, as well as the ability to use bots to engage with users has proved to be problematic. In early 2021, a database selling phone numbers pulled from Facebook was selling numbers for $20 per lookup. Similarly, security researchers found a network of deepfake bots on the platform that were generating images of people submitted by users to create non-consensual imagery, some of which involved children. Ukrainian forces successfully attacked Russian vehicles in the capital city of Kyiv thanks to a public tip made through the encrypted messaging app Telegram, Ukraine's top law-enforcement agency said on Tuesday. Also in the latest update is the ability for users to create a unique @username from the Settings page, providing others with an easy way to contact them via Search or their t.me/username link without sharing their phone number. If you initiate a Secret Chat, however, then these communications are end-to-end encrypted and are tied to the device you are using. That means it’s less convenient to access them across multiple platforms, but you are at far less risk of snooping. Back in the day, Secret Chats received some praise from the EFF, but the fact that its standard system isn’t as secure earned it some criticism. If you’re looking for something that is considered more reliable by privacy advocates, then Signal is the EFF’s preferred platform, although that too is not without some caveats.
