Но нахлынувшие чувства проходят, становится более явно то, что спектакль создавался по заказу к юбилейной дате (85-летие победы на реке Халхин Гол). Разумеется, это не мешает режиссеру-постановщику Олегу Юмову иметь искреннее желание осмыслить исторические события. Известный бурятский драматург Геннадий Башкуев написал пьесу под названием «Клятва. Белая дорога Чимэдцэрэна», специально для Бурдрамы.
