«Волнянка имеет одногодичный цикл развития. Зимует в стадии гусениц в лесной подстилке и верхних слоях почвы. С момента пробуждения и до окукливания наносит наибольшие повреждения насаждениям, поедая хвою», - рассказали в республиканском агентстве лесного хозяйства.
В прошлом году в Бурятии зафиксировали вспышку этого вредителя. Специалисты обследовали пораженные участки леса и подготовили документы для их обработки авиационным способом. Она начнется с 26 мая. Всего обработать планируют свыше 53 тысяч гектаров.
