Such recommendations induced the investors to deal in the said scrips, thereby creating artificial volume and price rise. Saturday and Sunday could easily bring unfortunate news on the war front—and traders would rather be able to sell any recent winnings at Friday’s earlier prices than wait for a potentially lower price at Monday’s open. Sebi said data, emails and other documents are being retrieved from the seized devices and detailed investigation is in progress.
