Є митці, побачивши чиї роботи, відразу з’являється думка: «О, це тепер мій улюблений автор». Звісно, таких «улюбленців» за все життя може назбиратися вдосталь, але в той конкретний момент здається, що краще вже не буде.

Кацуя Терада і його ілюстрації, створені у період з 1989 по 1995 рік, викликали в мене саме такі емоції. Тоді він активно співпрацював із журналом Nintendo Power, оживляючи світи таких ігор, як The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening та The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. І його роботи — це квінтесенція «зельдовості». Вони пробуджують уяву, допомагають відчути старі двовимірні простори такими, якими їх неможливо побачити.

Безперечно, мені б хотілося отримати нову велику гру серії, натхненну саме ілюстраціями пана Теради. Звісно, ймовірність цього не надто велика, але, знаючи Nintendo, вона ніколи не дорівнює нулю 💛
