Середина зимовки

Сегодня главный праздник всех полярников зимующих в Антарктиде - середина зимовки!

По традиции полярные станции обмениваются фотографиям и поздравлениями. Этот день принято отмечать дружно, по возможности соседние станции объединятся и празднуют вместе (мы так и делаем).

21 июня день зимнего солнцестояния в южном полушарии.
Наступила середина полярной ночи на станциях, которые расположены за южным полярным кругом. Теперь ночь будет постепенно уменьшаться, приближается появление солнца и долгожданный световой день.
