Кыштым занял 4 место в рейтинге городов с населением меньше 100 тысяч человек, в этом же списке Снежинск стал 16-м. Челябинск стал 8-м в рейтинге городов-миллионников.
В рейтинге городов, где живут от 250 тысяч до 1 миллиона человек, Магнитогорск стал 22-м. Сразу три города области попали в рейтинг среди городов от 100 тысяч до 250 тысяч человек – Миасс (14 место), Златоуст (16 место) и Копейск (28 место).
