Возгорание произошло на рулежной дорожке, взлетно-посадочная полоса не задета. Вертолет от авиазавода еще не был передан заказчику и не находился в эксплуатации. На борту вертолета не было пассажиров. Экипаж три человека. Тушение производится силами аэропорта и МЧС по республике Бурятия. Экипаж, к сожалению, погиб. Задействованы все службы.
