Сегодня в России отмечается День солидарности в борьбе с терроризмом.

3 сентября 2004 года состоялся штурм школы №1 в Беслане, где террористы в течение 3 дней удерживали 1116 учителей, детей и их родителей, не давая им ни еды, ни воды, регулярно расстреливая заложников для устрашения остальных.

В ходе спецоперации по освобождению людей погибли 314 человек из числа заложников, в том числе 186 детей, а так же 10 бойцов ЦСН ФСБ, 8 сотрудников МЧС и гражданских спасателей, 1 сотрудник МВД, 783 человека получили ранения.
