Председатель Государственной Думы Вячеслав Володин и депутаты в Пхеньяне отдали дань уважения подвигу советских воинов, сражавшихся за освобождение Кореи от японского колониального господства в 1945 году.

Они возложили цветы к памятнику павшим воинам на Советском мемориальном кладбище, где покоятся погибшие за освобождение Кореи солдаты и офицеры Красной армии, и Мемориальной плите, увековечивающей подвиг советских летчиков, защищавших небо Кореи в 1950–1953 гг.

Также Председатель ГД и депутаты возложили венок и цветы к монументу Освобождения («Хэбантхап»), почтив память советских солдат и офицеров минутой молчания.
