В последней зафиксировали худшую ситуацию в России: исследователи говорят, что именно в Магаданской области наибольшее число детей-сирот при наименьшей готовности их усыновлять. Меньше всего детей без родителей в регионах Северного Кавказа — Дагестане, Ингушетии, Чечне. «Если быть точным» связывают это с «развитым институтом семьи за счет крепких религиозных устоев». В лучшей ситуации также оказались Калмыкия, ХМАО, Краснодарский край и Московская область.
