Набережная реки Фонтанки утонула в снежной каше со стороны реки, а со стороны домов на тротуарах комфортно себя ощущала наледь с лужицами.
За последний день каникул 8 января в Петербурге выпало 7,3 см осадков, ночью город чистили 912 машин.
