قدیما یه شاگرد کفاشی بود، هر روز میرفت لب رودخونه برای درست کردن کفش، چرم می‌شست؛
اوستاش هر روز قبل رفتن بهش سیلی میزد، می‌گفت اینو میزنم تا چرم رو آب نبره! یه روز شاگرد داشت میشُست که چرم رو آب برد، با خودش گفت اوستا هر روز به من چَک میزد که آب نبره چرم رو، الان بفهمه قطعا زنده م نمیذاره!
با ترس و لرز رفت و هرجوری بود به اوستاش گفت جریان رو، ولی اوستاش گفت باشه عیب نداره. شاگرد با تعجب پرسید نمی‌زنیم؟ اوستاش گفت من میزدم که چرم رو آب نبره! الان که آب برده دیگه فایده ای نداره...
