Им оказался гвардии младший сержант Магомед Абдулаев из села Каранай Буйнакского района, боец штурмовой роты 136-й бригады. С позывным «Судья» он находился на передовой, в двухстах метрах от врага, докладывая о передвижениях и применении тяжелого вооружения противника. Благодаря его координатам была уничтожена целая вражеская рота.
После смены, преодолев 10 километров с обмороженными ногами, Магомед помог эвакуировать раненого и погибшего товарища. Сейчас он находится в госпитале в Москве, где борется с последствиями обморожения.
