В ходе рабочего визита в Оренбуржье Сенатор РФ Елена Афанасьева встретилась с врио Губернатора Евгением Солнцевым, а также с вице-губернатором по социальной политике Ларисой Боярской

На встрече в том числе обсуждался вопрос, с которым обращалась в приёмную Сенатора заслуженный профессор, признанный деятель медицины Альбина Александровна Вялкова.

Елена Афанасьева обсудила с представителями профильного ведомства пути решения проблем, возникших с "оптимизацией и реорганизацией" факультета педиатрии Оренбургского медуниверситета. Договорились с вице-губернатором Ларисой Боярской, что в сентябре этого года будет организована встреча сотрудников факультета и руководства ВУЗа с представителями министерства для выработки более точных решений.
