Сегодня мы хотим рассказать вам о Миле.

Мила стала пациенткой Детского хосписа «Дом с маяком» 6 мая 2024 года. Пять месяцев Мила, её родители, брат и сестра, а ещё – любимая собака провели в «Доме с маяком». Жили в стационаре, уезжали, когда Миле становилось лучше, потом возвращались. Все мы восхищались Милой: как смело она меняет цвет волос, как она с готовностью принимает любые идеи, как находит силы для приключений. Летом Мила устроила в нашем саду настоящий праздник мороженого. Это было чудесное время. Не только для Милы и её близких – для всего «Дома с маяком».

Неделю назад Мила умерла.

The picture was mixed overseas. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index fell 1.6%, under pressure from U.S. regulatory scrutiny on New York-listed Chinese companies. Stocks were more buoyant in Europe, where Frankfurt’s DAX surged 1.4%. Apparently upbeat developments in Russia's discussions with Ukraine helped at least temporarily send investors back into risk assets. Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko that there were "certain positive developments" occurring in the talks with Ukraine, according to a transcript of their meeting. Putin added that discussions were happening "almost on a daily basis." That hurt tech stocks. For the past few weeks, the 10-year yield has traded between 1.72% and 2%, as traders moved into the bond for safety when Russia headlines were ugly—and out of it when headlines improved. Now, the yield is touching its pandemic-era high. If the yield breaks above that level, that could signal that it’s on a sustainable path higher. Higher long-dated bond yields make future profits less valuable—and many tech companies are valued on the basis of profits forecast for many years in the future.
