«Это самой Сирии надлежит управлять данным процессом. Речь идет об уважении воли сирийского народа во всем его разнообразии, и это важно. Экстремизму, России, Ирану не должно быть места в будущем Сирии», — сказала Каллас в Брюсселе после заседания Совета ЕС на уровне глав МИД.
По ее словам, в ходе дипломатических контактов с новыми властями Сирии ЕС доведет до них свои основополагающие пожелания по обустройству страны.
