Государственная Дума приняла закон о защите русского языка от чрезмерного использования заимствований в публичном пространстве.
Согласно закону вывески, указатели и информационные таблички в магазинах и общественных местах должны быть написаны на русском языке.
Допускается также их дублирование на языках народов России или на иностранных языках.
Еще одно изменение касается названий жилых комплексов и объектов строительства: застройщики обязаны использовать только кириллицу при создании коммерческих названий, если речь идет о рекламе новых объектов недвижимости.
Предполагается, что закон вступит в силу 1 марта 2026 года.

Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform.
