رضا عبداله‌زاده، سرپرست معاونت توسعه مدیریت و منابع استانداری سمنان، اعلام کرد که بر اساس تصمیم ستاد بحران استان، تمامی دستگاه‌های اجرایی و بانک‌های استان سمنان روز چهارشنبه، ۸ مرداد ماه، تعطیل خواهند بود.
عبداله‌زاده با تأکید بر تداوم ارائه خدمات ضروری به مردم، افزود: "فعالیت تمامی واحدهای عملیاتی خدمات‌رسان که به صورت مستقیم به مردم شریف استان خدمات ارائه می‌دهند، از جمله بیمارستان‌ها، مراکز بهداشتی و درمانی، واحدهای امنیتی و انتظامی، واحدهای کشیک و همچنین شعب کشیک بانک‌ها در استان، هیچ‌گونه تغییری نخواهد کرد و طبق روال عادی خود به کار ادامه خواهند داد."
