Unknown armed elements operating from positions on the western bank of the Euphrates River fired an RPG round this evening at one of our positions in the village of Abu Hammam, east of Deir ez-Zor. The attack resulted in no casualties.

Our forces responded appropriately, accurately targeting the source of the fire.

Calm currently prevails in the area, while our security units continue investigation and follow-up operations to identify the perpetrators.
