This teaching builds on the A Khrid Parts I-IV teachings offered at Olmo Ling this spring and in previous years. Having previously attended Parts I-IV is a prerequisite for attending Part V.
About the Teaching
Tempa Lama will offer the teaching and transmission of Phowa practice, comprising session XV of the A Khrid Bon Dzogchen transmission. Phowa is the practice of transference of consciousness when an individual approaches death or has passed. It is a path of liberation traditionally used by great masters to liberate the consciousness of self and others at the moment of death.
At the moment of death, our body and consciousness separate. Through Phowa practice we help the consciousness of the deceased or dying person liberate. Phowa is also used to clear the causes of the six realms of existence, the karmic traces that bind us to the cyclic continuum of suffering, and to unify our mind with the primordial purity. Tempa Lama will give the teaching and instruction on how to practice Phowa and how to use it to clear karmic conditioning. He will then offer the transmission of this practice.
Participants will receive:

Songs of Barway Dorje
Livestream and In-person participation
Commentary and Instruction by Vajracharya Lama Tashi Topgyal
Translation by Lama Yeshe Gyamtso
10 am - Noon & 2 - 4:00 pm ET
Livestream and In-person participation
The “Treasury of Eloquence” is a compilation of the songs of realization of Terchen Barway Dorje (1836-1918). Like the well-known songs of Milarepa, they were as a source of inspiration and guidance to contemporary practitioners. Though most of the songs were spontaneously composed for a particular disciple, their direct advice unmistakably points out the way to encounter the Buddha nature that is common to all.
Made up of many pithy songs, longer pieces, guru yoga compositions, and prayers of aspiration and supplication, the “Treasury of Eloquence” contains a wide range of teachings and instructions that can be put to immediate use.

https://www.dolpotulku.org/en/termin/lecture-yogacara-philosophie/
We are honored to announce a series of three guest lectures by the renowned Dharma teacher and translator Dhammadipa, who will guide us into the depths of Yogācāra philosophy based on the Saṃdhinirmocana Sūtra, one of the most important sources for the Yogācāra tradition. Across these three sessions, Ven. Dhammadipa will offer a clear and experiential introduction to the key themes of the text, such as the nature of consciousness, perception, and the path to realization according to the “Mind-Only” school of Mahāyāna Buddhism. His teachings will illuminate how the insights of Yogācāra can enrich both study and practice. This event is part of the Longchen Shedra Guest Lecture series and is open to all who wish to deepen their understanding of Buddhist philosophy and practice.
The Longchen Shedra founded by Dolpo Tulku Rinpoche is a four-year Buddhist study program. The first three years are devoted to studying the Sutrayana, and the final year focuses mainly on Tantrayana teachings and practices.
These Shedra studies center on classical Buddhist treatises from some of the most brilliant and highly recognized masters of the Nyingma lineage: Longchen Rabjam Drimé Özer, Jigme Lingpa, and Mipham Rinpoche.
If you are interested in joining or becoming a member of the Shedra, please check the full information at the link provided.
