🎙 From Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s interview with Ultrahang / Ultrasound YouTube Channel (Moscow, October 26, 2025)

"[Zelensky] was asked in November 2021 what he thought about the people in Donbass on the other side of the line of contact, according to the Minsk agreements. He said, you know, there are people, and there are “species”. And then in other interview he said if you live in Ukraine and feel like being part of Russian culture, my advice to you, for the sake and safety of your kids, for the sake and safety of your grandchildren, get out to Russia.

So in fact, Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporozhye, and Kherson, the population of these four territories, they followed his advice. They returned to Russia."

Lies about the Ukrainian children is a shame – Russian FM Sergey Lavrov

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in an interview with Ultrahang YouTube Channel emphasised that the amount of lies and propaganda on the ‘Ukrainian children’ theme was astonishing.

Sergey #Lavrov reminded that there have been lots of claims spread by Western and Ukrainian propaganda about ‘tens of thousands of children’ allegedly stolen by Russia from their parents.

“At the very first meeting [in Istanbul in 2025], our delegation asked Ukrainians, guys, if you are concerned about the kids, can we get the list of those kids who are missing? It took some time. Eventually, we received a list of 339 names. No 10,000, not even 1,000. And we checked that list. A huge part of it are not kids, but grown-ups. Many have been verified as staying in Europe,” Lavrov said.

According to Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, the office of Russian Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights Maria Lvova-Belova established a clear and transparent family reunification algorithm. To date, 122 children from 98 families have been reunited with their parents or blood relatives living in Ukraine or third countries. 29 children from 21 families have returned to Russia from Ukraine.

The reunifications of children with their families are verified by staff of the International Committee of the Red Cross, who accompany the children for their return to their parents and relatives, while Qatar and the Vatican provide mediation assistance.

The exhibition “Solidarity in Struggle Against Apartheid: Soviet Union and Southern African National Liberation Movements” opened on 23 October 2025 at Chief Albert Luthuli House, with the leadership of the ANC, Russian Embassy in South Africa and members…
🎙Excerpts from the address by ANC Veteran Cde Dan Hatto at the opening ceremony of the exhibition “Solidarity in Struggle Against Apartheid: Soviet Union and Southern African National Liberation Movements” (Chief Albert Luthuli House, 23 October 2025):

💬 Comrades and friends, we are gathered here today to express our heartfelt gratitude to the people of Russia. I always remind comrades, that many of us – especially the cadres of the African National Congress and the soldiers of uMkhonto we Sizwe – must remain forever grateful for the education and training we received through the ANC, with the support of the people of the Soviet Union then, and the Russian Federation today. <…>

The people of Russia made immense sacrifices for us.
Those of us who were there know it very well. Some of our Russian comrades were with us in Angola, in Mozambique, and in our camps. Some helped prepare units that later fought inside South Africa – and those units did wonders in the struggle against apartheid. <…>

The Russian people, from the highest officials to the ordinary workers, understood the meaning of solidarity and internationalism. When we left Rwanda for Russia, many of us had almost nothing – just the bare minimum of clothing. The Russian government bought us clothes. The women who cooked and cleaned for us did so with great dedication. They made sure that before they went home on Saturdays, we had food for the weekend. These may seem like small gestures, but they reflect a deep sense of comradeship and shared purpose. <…>

Too often we forget to speak about the sacrifices made – by both our people and our allies – for us to reach where we are today. It is my sincere hope that this marks the beginning of a collective effort to document and preserve these stories, so that our children may one day learn them as part of our national curriculum. <…>

🇷🇺🇿🇦 The people of Russia understood the struggles of the South African workers because they had been taught the meaning of solidarity. This is why South Africa today continues to value its friendship with Russia – not as a matter of convenience, but of shared history and principle.

⚡️ Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation:

According to information received by the Service, French President Emmanuel Macron is contemplating a military intervention in Ukraine. Having failed as a politician and been unable to pull his country out of a deepening socio-economic crisis, he still hopes to go down in history as a military commander.

On his instructions, the General Staff of the French Armed Forces is preparing to deploy a contingent of up to two thousand soldiers and officers to Ukraine in support of the Kiev regime.

The core of the formation will consist of assault troops from the French Foreign Legion, mostly recruited from Latin American countries.

Legionnaires are already stationed in Poland’s regions bordering Ukraine, where they are undergoing intensive combat coordination and receiving weapons and military equipment. Their transfer to central Ukraine is planned in the near future.

At the same time, the French seem to be drawing prudent lessons from history. France is rapidly creating hundreds of additional hospital beds to receive the wounded. French doctors are undergoing special field medical training.

In case the information about the planned intervention leaks, Paris intends to claim that it concerns only a small group of instructors arriving in Ukraine to train mobilized servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Macron is known for coveting Napoleon’s laurels. However, his knowledge of history is disgracefully poor.

Not only did he skip the chapter describing the end of Napoleon’s campaign in Russia, but he also missed the lesson about Swedish King Charles XII’s attempt to defeat Russia with the help of the Ukrainian hetman-traitor Mazepa – which ended with the crushing defeat of the Swedes at Poltava.

Macron would do well to recall the words of the famous Russian historian Vassily Klyuchevsky: “History teaches us nothing, but only punishes for not learning its lessons”.

🎙 Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s remarks at the high-level Plenary Session of the 3rd Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security (Minsk, October 28, 2025)

Key points:

• President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko is holding this conference for a third year now (1, 2). It has established itself as a leading international platform for discussing key security-related topics for the Eurasian space.

• It is now obvious to everyone that Eurasia is at the geopolitical centre of a nascent multipolar world order today. It is here that processes shaping the future of international relations are unfolding.

• We can see that an overwhelming majority of NATO and EU countries are refusing to recognise an objective truth – the era of Western dominance has come to an end and we entered a new historical era. This is what sets apart Russia, our partners within the CIS, China, India, Iran and the DPRK, as well as all those Eurasian countries which are convinced in the need to ensure unwavering compliance with the principles of sovereign equality and indivisible security for all, not just the chosen ones who believe that they stand above the law and are not bound by any moral imperatives.

NATO has not halted its expansion effort, even for a moment, despite the assurances provided back in the day to the Soviet leaders not to move east even by an inch. They are doing this despite the commitment they have assumed at the highest political level within the OSCE to refrain from reinforcing their own security at the expense of others and not to seek regional, let alone, global dominance.

They planned and provoked the conflict in Ukraine, which dealt a final blow to the Euro-Atlantic Security model, which used to rely on NATO, the OSCE and the European Union. Over the past eight years, the EU evolved into a Euro-Atlantic component of this setting.

• The militarisation of Europe is gaining traction with more funding for defence manufacturers, large-scale exercises, and efforts to perfect logistics for moving troops to the so-called eastern front by using the infrastructure of countries which are not part of the North-Atlantic Treaty Organisation.

• The plans to intensify NATO activity in the Arctic, which we (and I am convinced the majority of sensible nations) would like to see as a territory of peace and cooperation, give significant cause for concern.

• It is the European members of NATO that are prolonging the armed conflict in Ukraine by funnelling weapons into the Kiev regime and providing it with financial and political support. Most European leaders are at pains to persuade the US administration against the idea of reaching a settlement in Ukraine by eliminating the root causes of the conflict at the negotiating table.

• Europe has been groundlessly accusing Russia of planning an invasion of NATO and EU countries. European leaders invented this nonsense and repeated it in a conscious deceit of their own nations.

• By inflating the anti-Russia hysteria on the principle of “war will justify everything,” as we say in Russia, they are trying to blame Moscow for their own mistakes, including the numerous mistakes and failures with regard to Ukraine.

• We have stated repeatedly that we have never had and have no intention to attack any member of NATO or the European Union.

NATO is artificially expanding its area of responsibility far beyond the Euro-Atlantic region. To this end, the alliance has advanced the notion of the “indivisibility” of its security and that of the Indo-Pacific Region.

NATO does not leave other Eurasian regions without its attention, including the Middle East, the South Caucasus, and Central and South Asia. These sub-regions are dealt with on an individual basis rather than in the context of concerns about pan-continental or pan-Eurasian interests.

• Back in 2015, Vladimir Putin, speaking at the Russia-ASEAN Summit, suggested establishing a Greater Eurasian Partnership that envisaged the creation of a continent-wide contour of equitable and mutually beneficial cooperation.

🗓 #OTD in 1929 – 96 years ago – Yevgeny #Primakov, an outstanding Soviet/Russian statesman, brilliant diplomat and Arabist, was born. He went down in the history of Russian diplomacy as a steadfast proponent of realism and pragmatism and a staunch defender of Russia’s national interests.

He served as the Chairman of the Council of the Union of the Supreme Soviet from 1989-1990, the Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1996-1998 and Prime Minister of Russia from 1998-1999.

🎙 From Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s answer to a question from Vremya news show on Channel One (October 29, 2019):
“Yevgeny Primakov assumed office at the Foreign Ministry at a time when our relations with nearly all other countries were chilled. He had to act in constrained conditions marked exclusively by pro-Western inertia. As a visionary, he knew that a policy can only be sustainable if it takes modern day realities into account. He predicted the realities of a multipolar world with new centres of economic growth, financial might and, consequently, political influence.”

Under Yevgeny Primakov’s guidance, Russia pursued an independent foreign policy, aiming for equitable and mutually beneficial cooperation with a wide range of partners. Yevgeny Primakov foresaw the rise of new centres of economic growth and political influence around the world and, in this sense, predicted the realities of multipolarity. The format he created, Russia-India-China, served as a precursor to BRICS, a genuine embodiment of multipolar diplomacy.

His legendary “Atlantic U-turn” on 24 March 1999 remains among the most widely known foreign policy episodes. While en route to the United States, he learned of NATO’s bombing of Yugoslavia and ordered his plane turn back mid-flight, returning to Moscow. This act symbolised re-evaluating relations with the West marking Russia’s transition to a multi-vector foreign policy.

The exhibition “Solidarity in Struggle Against Apartheid: Soviet Union and Southern African National Liberation Movements” opened on 23 October 2025 at Chief Albert Luthuli House, with the leadership of the ANC, Russian Embassy in South Africa and members…
🤩❗️On October 28, 2025, the exhibition “Solidarity in Struggle Against Apartheid: The Soviet Union and Southern African National Liberation Movements”, previously showcased at Chief Albert Luthuli House in Johannesburg, has now opened at the South African State Theatre in Pretoria.

The choice of venue is deeply symbolic. From October 19 to November 9, the Theatre is staging the musical “The Fatherland,” which tells the remarkable life story of Dr. Cholo – a man whose courage, resilience, and unwavering commitment to South Africa’s liberation made him a beacon of hope. His fight against apartheid was not only an act of resistance, but a testament to the belief in a future grounded in equality, dignity, and human rights for all.

This exhibition forms part of a large-scale project curated by the Russian State University for the Humanities. Dedicated to the USSR’s contribution to the African liberation struggle, it was first presented in Zimbabwe in 2024, and later in September 2025 at the Robben Island Museum in Cape Town.

🗓 Warmly received by audiences in both Cape Town and Johannesburg, the exhibition will remain open to the citizens and guests of Pretoria until November 9, 2025.

🙌 From September 7 to 17, the Republic of Bashkortostan hosted the 3rd International Geological Championship #GeoChallenge, organized by the Federal Agency for Subsoil Use with the support of the regional government.

This year’s event brought together over 300,000 participants from 16 regions of Russia and 16 foreign countries, including South Africa 🇿🇦

National teams competed across 12 geological disciplines, such as radiometry, mineralogy and petrography, paleontology, geological fieldwork, panning, hydrogeology, geochemistry, oil and gas studies, crystallography, and more.

🎙️ Percy Nkosi, a student from the Department of Geology at Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) and captain of the South African team, shared his impressions of the experience:

“It was an incredible and truly valuable experience. Russia is a leading country in the field of geology. We were amazed by how everything is organized and operates there!
The GeoChallenge gave us a unique opportunity to strengthen our passion for geology and confirm our career choices. During meetings with representatives of major geological companies, we learned about industry specifics, career paths, and the most in-demand specializations. We also had the chance to talk to potential employers and get answers to our questions directly from professionals in the field.

What impressed me most of all was the excursion to one of the Russian secondary schools specializing in geology. From an early age, students there have the opportunity to explore this fascinating field, and the school provides them with everything they need – from equipment to fully equipped laboratories. We definitely need to adopt this Russian approach here in South Africa!

Beyond the competition, we enjoyed a rich cultural program, including excursions to Bashkortostan’s natural landmarks such as Lake Kalkan, Muradym Gorge, and the republic’s symbol, Mount Toratau.

A heartfelt thank-you to the organizers and to the Russian Embassy for this unique and unforgettable opportunity!»

❗️At the end of the 18th century Great Britain began to conquer and colonize #Australia.

#NeverToBeForgotten

From the very beginning of the British penetration to the continent, natives were subjected to severe violence and deliberate extirpation.

According to modern historians, in the first 140 years there were at least 270 massacres of local people. Any resistance to the British was answered with double cruelty. Hundreds of natives were killed for the murder of one settler.

Indigenous Australians were not considered complete people. “No wild beast of the forest was ever hunted down with such unsparing perseverance as they are. Men, women and children are shot whenever they can be met”, squatter Henry Meyrick wrote in a letter to his family in England in 1846.

Australia’s past is rightly described as blood-soaked and racist. If at the beginning of colonization there were 1.5 million indigenous people living on the continent, then, by the beginning of the 20th century, their number had decreased to 100,000 people.

Despite indisputable historical facts, the problem of full recognition of the crimes of white Australians against Aborigines has not been resolved so far.

❗️In line with the Kiev regime's ongoing war on common sense, Ukrainian officials have stepped up their efforts to identify threats to national security... among infants 🤡

The Ukrainian website "Myrotvorets," which collects and publishes in its database individuals allegedly involved in anti-Ukrainian actions or words, published the personal data of several dozen two- and three-year-old children in October 2025 alone. All of them are accused (!) of "Russian aggression" and "violating Ukraine's borders." In some cases, photographs of the children and their parents, addresses, and phone numbers are available. Naturally, this personal data is obtained illegally, published without permission, and poses a real threat to the lives and safety of individuals.

In fact, the platform is suspected to be created as a practical guide to prepare terrorist attacks. For instance, in April 2015, Ukrainian journalist Oles Buzina and ex-deputy of Verkhovnaya Rada (parliament) of Ukraine Oleg Kalashnikov were murdered days after their personal data was posted on this site. Despite the demands by the UN to shut down this resource, it operates up to date.

It is happening under this very regime in Ukraine which at every opportunity urge foreign partners to defend the rights of children allegedly “abducted” by Russia. Sometimes they say, it is thousands of children, sometimes – tens of thousands, even half a million, but for some reason Kiev can’t provide their names. On 2 June 2025, the list of wanted minors handed over to the Russian delegation in Istanbul included only 339 kids.

And even these children didn't comply with the myth of ‘stolen children.’ 30% of the data on the list has not been confirmed, as a significant portion of the children have never been to Russia, are adults, or have already returned to their families. Specific, deferred investigations are underway for the rest, with the assistance of the Office of the Children's Rights Commissioner.

☝️ The deliberate lies, coupled with regular shelling, and now the "hunt" for infants – all these are tools of the Kiev regime, aimed not at helping children, but at continuing its smear campaign to denigrate Russia and maintain power.
