Ближайшие 3 дня — 19, 20 и 21 октября — на трёх площадках (ЦК19, fab8, Студия 312) открываем выставку "Миф о 17 невидимках" — живопись, графика, свидетельства устной истории круга новосибирских художников и поэтов, художников и музыкантов, объединившихся вокруг фигуры Олега Волова в 80-е — 90-е годы. Чем эта история интересна в контексте тем города и городской истории — скажу ещё в паре слов на открытии в ЦК 19. Приходите смотреть, читать и слушать.

WhatsApp, a rival messaging platform, introduced some measures to counter disinformation when Covid-19 was first sweeping the world. Telegram users are able to send files of any type up to 2GB each and access them from any device, with no limit on cloud storage, which has made downloading files more popular on the platform. Groups are also not fully encrypted, end-to-end. This includes private groups. Private groups cannot be seen by other Telegram users, but Telegram itself can see the groups and all of the communications that you have in them. All of the same risks and warnings about channels can be applied to groups. The message was not authentic, with the real Zelenskiy soon denying the claim on his official Telegram channel, but the incident highlighted a major problem: disinformation quickly spreads unchecked on the encrypted app. Apparently upbeat developments in Russia's discussions with Ukraine helped at least temporarily send investors back into risk assets. Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko that there were "certain positive developments" occurring in the talks with Ukraine, according to a transcript of their meeting. Putin added that discussions were happening "almost on a daily basis."
